Orange Show Dating Advice

Its Memorial Day weekend! In the Inland Empire of Southern California it meas the Orange Show is on now. So the dreaded Orange Show Curse is on. Not just because of the rain, but also because any time you take a date there it is usually the last date you go on, if you are not married. I speak from experience, folks. I have taken 3 dates there and every time it was the last one. So if you have a budding relationship stay away. if you want to be "just friends"...ok.

Meg Whitman charges Steve Poizner in hit campaign pieces of spending too much money on new cars while serving as California's Insurance Comissioner. They even show his head bobbing out of Impala convertibles with big chrome wheels.

Her claim is true. However, my investigation has found he may have saved the state $9 million a year. How? By ordering a top to bottom review of the State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF), the states "public option" for workers compensation insurance. In response, SCIF is purging 1000 cars from it's fleet. This in accordance to a story in the Workers Comp Executive, an online trade journal for workers compensation managers published 5/10/2010. The move has met some opposition from the powerful SEIU, but most of the cars being eliminated were driven by managers and executives as personal perks, not cars used for field work.

It seems to me Steve Poizner has demonstrated an ability to save the state money on cars, but also face down a powerful government workers union. He or Meg will need this skill if they are to save California from financial meltdown.

Supreme Single Lady

President Barak Obama nomiated Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. One of the issues is that she is 50 years old and has never been married. She is a single career woman. Does that matter to the job at hand? It shouldn't. David Souter is never married, and it didn't matter then. But then again our world has changed. There are more unmarried adults than married adults, due to divorces, deaths, living-together arrangements. Sex has been decoupled from marriage. We singles need advocates at high levels so that more "single friendly" policies can be made that can make the dream of all persons being equal more of a reality whatever your marital status is.

road trip to romance?

How far would you go for a spouse? On my way home from a friends 50rh birthday party last night i was listening to Tim Conway jr. on kfi am 640. They were featuring these two former news anchor reporter ladies travelling around the country looking for husbands. They devoted themselves to their careers, found themselves still single, and their biological clocks are screaming. I checked out their website highwaytoahusband.com They are nice looking ladies, but half the men would not approach them becuase of their careers. In my opinion they are emitting despirate vibes, and will not be successful in their mission, unless they are willing to become the kind of women men look for in a wife. They are beautiful, but are they godly? Do they know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord? Are they willing to die to self and become supportive partners to their future husbands?

A lot of American men go out of our country looking for wives. My best earthly friend went to the Phillipines to find a wife, and found one praying for a husband. They met, talked, wrote to each other for a year. He brought her over, and within months they were married. My advice to women who want to be married is know what your getting into. Be as attractive and approachable as possible, but let the man do the pursuing. The proof of love is in the pursuit.

Just a quick post. What do you think?
